The popular German shop system is database-intensive. From WebBusiness onwards, with PHP 8 and enough memory, Shopware runs smoothly; for large catalogues we recommend a Cloud Server.
The versatile CMS for clubs, associations and corporate sites runs directly on our standard packages; we are happy to help with the setup. You can install it in the customer center with the application wizard.
Drupal is a powerful CMS for demanding, large web projects. Well suited to WebBusiness/WebPremium; for complex setups with custom modules a Cloud Server is worthwhile.
TYPO3 is the enterprise CMS from Germany – common with public authorities and larger companies. It needs more memory and runtime; from WebPremium onwards or on a Cloud Server.
Less widespread systems also run on our platform, as long as they use PHP 8 and MySQL. When in doubt, just ask – we will tell you honestly whether it fits. Grav can be installed in the customer center with the application wizard.
Do you have a hand-built site or your own PHP application? Upload it via SFTP or FTPS, done. You create databases yourself in the customer center under “Webspace → Databases”.
We do not pretend that every CMS needs its own special hosting. The truth is simpler: Joomla, Drupal, Shopware and most other systems run on our NVMe platform in Germany – with PHP 8, fast databases, SSL and daily backups.
The difference is not in the technology but in the service: we help with the installation, with the migration from your old provider, and tell you honestly whether a standard package is enough or a Cloud Server with root access makes more sense.
Small to medium sites and shops run well on WebBusiness or WebPremium. Composer, WP-CLI and Git are available via SSH in web hosting too. As soon as it involves large amounts of data, many simultaneous visitors or your own server services, a Cloud Server is the calmer choice. When in doubt, just ask.
