What does "managed" actually mean?
With classic (unmanaged) hosting you get the platform – you handle the maintenance yourself. With managed hosting we take over the technical operation: updates, monitoring, backups, security and configuration. You take care of content and business, we take care of the technology underneath.
This is especially worthwhile when downtime causes real damage or there is simply no one in-house who wants to deal with server matters.
What does managed hosting cost?
For managed WordPress websites there are fixed packages with a fixed monthly price (see above). For servers and individual systems, the effort depends on the system, size and desired response time – for these we put together managed services individually, transparently and without flat-rate surprises. Just briefly describe your setup and we will make a suitable offer. Pure hourly work is also available through our IT service.

In many cases yes – we review your setup and tell you honestly whether managed operation makes sense and can be done cleanly.
What response times are possible?

Do I still get access?
On request, yes. We clarify in advance who makes which changes, so there are no conflicts.
Does this only apply to web hosting?
No – we offer managed operation for web hosting packages and for cloud servers.
Is managed hosting GDPR compliant?
Yes, servers in Germany; you will find the data processing agreement in the customer center – including documented procedures.
