01 What the banner does
Your visitors decide before anything loads.
An equal choice
"Accept all", "Necessary only" and "Settings" sit side by side at the same size. The choice can be changed or withdrawn at any time via a small button.
Nothing before the decision
Marked scripts and frames stay blocked until the matching category is allowed. Before the choice, the banner stores nothing on the visitor's device.
Two-click placeholders
Instead of a map or a video, visitors first see a notice naming the provider. One button loads the content once, another allows the whole category permanently.
Templates for common services
Google Maps, YouTube, Vimeo, Google Fonts, Analytics, Matomo, Meta Pixel, reCAPTCHA and more – with provider, purpose and storage period as a suggestion to adopt and adjust.
Record log
Every decision with time, settings version, selection and a random identifier – without IP address. Kept for 12 months, exportable as CSV.

We fetch your home page and suggest services we find there. In the customer center you see how often each category was allowed.
02 An example
A practice website with a map and a video.
A made-up but typical example: home page with a directions map, an explainer video and visitor statistics.
- ScanThe practice enters its domain and starts the scan. On the home page we find Google Maps, YouTube and Google Analytics and suggest the matching templates.
- Review and adjustProvider, purpose and storage period appear as a suggestion. The practice reviews them, adds the links to legal notice and privacy policy and picks its colours.
- MarkThe statistics script, the map and the video get a marker in the code. Without consent none of the three services loads.
- VisitA visitor chooses "Necessary only". Instead of the map there is a notice naming the provider; he can load it once or allow the "Media" category permanently.
- RecordThe decision is logged with time, settings version and a random identifier – without IP address.

Does this make my website compliant with data protection law?
No tool can promise that on its own, and we do not. We provide the banner, the blocking and the record log. Which services you use, which of them require consent and how your privacy policy reads is your decision – if in doubt, with legal advice. The service templates are a suggestion for you to check and adjust.
Is any data transferred to third parties?
No. Script and log run on our servers in Germany. The banner sets no cookie of our domain; the choice is stored in the visitor's browser. Records contain neither IP address nor device characteristics, only a random identifier. When the script is loaded, our server – like any web server – sees the visitor's IP address; for this we act as your processor, and you conclude the agreement in the customer center.
Does the website have to be hosted with ProMedia24?
No. The banner works on any website whose domain you own. For domains not registered with us, you verify ownership once with a DNS record.
Does the scan find all services?
No. We fetch the home page and list the third-party addresses we see there. Anything loaded only on sub-pages, after a click or by script is not visible to a single fetch. The scan helps you fill in the settings; it is not a complete audit.
What happens if I cancel?
The script then no longer delivers a banner and marked content stays blocked – better no video than one without consent. So remove the code or the markings from your website beforehand.
What happens if I add a new service?
You add it to the list in the customer center and mark it on the website. Because this changes the scope your visitors decided on, the banner asks everyone again on their next visit. A changed colour or a new text asks nobody again.
How long are the records kept?
12 months, then we delete them automatically. Until then you can download them as a CSV file at any time.
What happens when the record allowance is reached?
The banner keeps appearing and blocking as usual; decisions are no longer logged until the end of the month, though. In the customer center you see the count for the month and whether the limit was reached.
Does the banner work with WordPress and other systems?
Yes, with any system where you can add a script line to the page head. You mark third-party content where it is embedded – the guide in the customer center shows how.
